Austria's HELLBOUND To Change Their Name

March 17, 2004

HELLBOUND, the Austrian band featuring former ABIGOR mainman Peter Kubik, have announced plans to change their name into HEIDENREICH, the moniker previously used by one of Peter's other side-projects.

"[We are changing the name] mainly because the name suits quite well and the rights of HEIDENREICH are still served through the previous deal with Napalm Records," the band wrote in a recent online posting. "Anyway, the 'new' HEIDENREICH can't be compared with Peter's project and its last release in 1999. The band will continue their way of working, and follow its roots of straight and rough black metal, even the new material will be more heavier and various then the debut split CD. Beside that a new website will be launched within the next 1-2 month at the old HEIDENREICH domain."

As previously reported, Kubuk's new band ST. LUCIFER, in which he is joined by Silenius (vocals, ex-SUMMONING) and Moritz Neuner (drums, SHADOWCAST, DARKWELL),are scheduled to release their first demo/promo CD in May. The disc will be used primarily for promotional purposes, but a limited amount will be available for purchase via the group's soon-to-be-launched web site.

ST. LUCIFER's current lineup is completed by Alex Stütz (guitars) and Lanz (bass).
